Year 10 Geography Excursion to the Olympic Park Wetlands

Wetlands used to be seen as wastelands of little value. In week 4, Year Ten Geography visited the wetlands at Sydney Olympic Park. They looked at how, over the years, the area has changed and how the wetlands are now being managed.  Students measured things like turbidity of water, soil moisture, wind speed, light intensity, soil ph to decide how healthy the wetlands are in their current state.
